David Kent is the Principal Timpanist and Personnel Manager of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra. He has been an independent contractor of the best musicians in Canada for 40 years.
David has managed not just the musicians of the TSO over the years, but he also formed and managed successful chamber music series such as Arraymusic and Via Salzburg. He has many years of experience in top to bottom administration, including negotiating, consulting, sponsor development, programming and executing a season with the best artists and on budget.
His vast knowledge and experience combine to bring together the best people to achieve the highest quality concerts or recordings.

Past projects include concerts with Pavrotti and Domingo, recordings with the Canadian Tenors, many Hollywood movie recordings and TIFF performances, and corporate events with a musical centrepiece, such as the award winning Mastercard Priceless Tables.
